Naveli Bundeli’ Innovative Initiative – At A Glance Under Mission Shakti Abhiyan-3, under the “Naveli-Bundeli” initiative in Banda district, a platform for the schemes related to various government facilities provided by various departments to their guardians on the birth of girls in the name of girls or on their birth. But innovation is being used. The brief description and gradual progress of this innovative initiative started by Anurag Patel District Magistrate Banda are as follows: Celebrating the birth anniversary of a girl child by cutting a cake in villages, towns, Banda city, government/private hospital/nursing home or at the girl’s house. The complete details of the girls born daily are sent to the departments related to the Central / State Government, so that the Nodal Officer of that department covers the girl and her family on the basis of eligibility from various beneficiary schemes of the Central / State Government like- Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Matritva Vandana Yojana, Janani Suraksha Yojana, Maternity Child and Girl Child Promotion Scheme (for registered construction workers) run by the Labor Department, Sukanya Samridhi Yojana and regular vaccination and Annaprashan girl’s parents and grandfather run by the bank and post office. – To cover the grandmother and other family members from various timely beneficiary schemes of the Central / State Government such as Ujala, Ujjwala, Ration Card, Prime Minister / Chief Minister Awas Yojana, various types of pension etc. from which they were still deprived. Daily review is done by the District Magistrate for effective monitoring. A WhatsApp group has also been created by the name “Naveli Bundeli”, in which photos and videos related to daily activities are received.
